Nemanja Matic and Slobodan Rajkovic will spend the season playing in the
Dutch league following loan moves to Vitesse Arnhem.


Midfielder Matic, who turned 22 this month, made three sub appearances for
Chelsea last season, his first at the club, and featured during the
pre-season just completed.


His fellow Serbian, a 21-year-old central defender, has yet to play for
Chelsea but Rajkovic (pictured below) already has experience of football
in Holland having spent time on loan at PSV and FC Twente where last
season, he was part of the side that won the league.

The players will be looking for more top-flight experience at Vitesse who
finished 14th last season. They are managed by Theo Bos, who had a long
playing career at the club, and are in action away to Feyenoord at the
weekend.
