Parma hold Borini hope

Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi has revealed talks are under way over a
deal to bring in young Chelsea striker Fabio Borini.
The Italian has progressed through the ranks at Stamford Bridge since
arriving as a 16-year-old in the summer of 2007.
However, he has not yet managed to establish himself as a first-team
regular under Carlo Ancelotti and has been linked with a move away from
the Blues.
Parma refused to confirm their interest in Borini, now 19, earlier this
month, but have now admitted they are hopeful of pushing through a deal.
Ghirardi said on the club's official website: "We have started talks with
the player. But for the time being Borini is a Chelsea player. We are
nevertheless optimistic that this transfer will be completed."
