intelligently at every opportunity. Grew in stature as his team did after a

Looked very rusty in the first half but took his goals superbly in the
second. Benefited from some brilliant Hazard passing but his finishing was
ruthlessly clinical. Deserved his first hat-trick in English football.

Another quiet game for the Brazilian, who looks mentally and physically jaded
after almost two full seasons without a break. Perhaps also troubled by that
niggling ankle knock.

Terrific play, assisted two goals
Shackled relatively well by the Fulham defence in the first half he made the
difference in the second, playing two superb passes into the path of Schurrle
to put the game beyond Fulham. It's frightening how much this Chelsea side
relies on the brilliant Belgian but he keeps producing.

Provided a good assist for Schurrle's third
Serenaded with chants of 'Torres!' as he left the field in the 82nd minute he
worked incredibly hard, almost humiliating Stekelenburg twice by charging
down poor clearances and linking play for his team. His finishing touch
remains one football's greatest enigmas, though.
