No Bulls? Bosh, Wade reportedly headed to Heat

It might be time for Plan B for the Bulls.

Citing sources, ESPN reported Wednesday morning that Chris Bosh will join
Dwayne Wade in signing with the Heat.

If true, either Bosh has decided to accept a five-year, $96 million offer or
the Raptors would have a day to figure out sign-and-trade scenarios with the
Heat. Previously, league sources had indicated the Raptors weren't very
interested in the Heat's sign-and-trade offers.

With LeBron James poised to announce his free-agent destination in a live
special Thursday night, the Bulls are getting backup plans in place. There's
still a chance James could land in Chicago, with most league sources saying
he has given no indication where he will sign. Another strong possibility is
Miami.

Sources told Yahoo Sports that Wade and Bosh spoke with James on the phone
early Wednesday, told him of their plans and are trying to recruit him to
join them in Miami. James didn't commit, a source said, but Wade and Bosh
"think they've got a real chance to pull this off with LeBron."

The Tribune reported Tuesday that the Bulls had begun fearing losing out on
two of its top targets. If James does not pick the Bulls, they are expected
to pursue from among Carlos Boozer, David Lee and shooters like Kyle Korver,
Ray Allen (who is expected to re-sign with the Celtics) or Mike Miller.

The Bulls also would begin aggressively scouring the trade market, knowing
they can accept more salary back into their cap space than they send out to
other teams.
