CBSSports.com reports: The Nuggets' Carmelo Anthony hasn't wavered in his
desire to be traded rather than accept a three-year, $65 contract extension
offer, according to multiple sources, and Denver privately is looking at
which NBA teams would offer the best package of young talent, draft picks and
expiring contracts to make a trade.
But although the Bulls and New York Knicks reportedly are Anthony's preferred
destinations, people close to the situation say the team with the most
realistic chance to put together a deal is the New Jersey Nets.
"They're working the hardest to get a deal done," one of the sources said,
with the Philadelphia 76ers possibly being a third team involved.
The Bulls are viewed as "not a realistic candidate" by one source because of
their reluctance to part with Joakim Noah.
