Bulls to celebrate 20th anniversary of first title

The Bulls announced Thursday that this season will feature several nods to
the 20th anniversary of the franchise's first NBA championship.
The biggest feature will come during the March 12 home game against the Utah
Jazz, when Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, John Paxson, Stacey King and
others are scheduled to attend a halftime celebration.

In addition, this season's uniforms will feature a 20th anniversary logo in
the upper right-hand corner.
"Of all my six championships, the first one is the one I treasure the most,"
team ambassador Scottie Pippen said in a statement.
Pippen made similar comments during an interview at his Hall of Fame
induction in August.
"I look forward to getting together with former teammates on March 12 to
relive those great memories," Pippen said in the release.
The 1990-91 team went 61-21 and beat the Lakers in five games for the first
of six Bulls' titles in eight seasons.
