CHICAGO -- Bulls forward Taj Gibson sprained his ankle in the fourth quarter
of Saturday night's 110-89 win over the Indiana Pacers and isn't sure when
he'll be able to return. X-rays taken after the game were negative, but
Gibson said he could barely put any weight on the ankle.

Replays appeared to show Gibson getting tangled up with teammate Ronnie
Brewer's foot, but the young forward wasn't sure what happened.

"I didn't remember hitting anybody," Gibson said. "I just remember my foot
giving. It twisted real bad."

Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau was glad things weren't worse. When Gibson went
down, he was writhing in pain on the floor.

"The trainer said he could go, so it is not as bad as we originally thought.
That is a good sign but we need to wait and see if there is any swelling. The
doctors said he is fine."

Gibson said it was a low-ankle sprain, the same kind of sprain he suffered
earlier in the month.

As for his long-term prognosis, the only thing Gibson was sure of was that he
would receive more treatment on Sunday.

"They said just ice it and we'll see [Sunday]," he said.

The Bulls start a five game West Coast swing on Wednesday in Los Angeles
against the Clippers.
