Bulls Unwilling to Disrupt Chemistry with Trade

Chicago Bulls executive vice president John Paxson isn't discounting the
possibility of making a move before the Feb. 24 trade deadline, but he said
no deal will be made that could potentially disrupt the chemistry of his
surging team.
Bulls executive John Paxson joined "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000 to
discuss Derrick Rose's ascension into superstardom.
The Bulls, who defeated the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday, are the No. 3 seed
in the Eastern Conference, two games behind the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics.
上週四打敗馬刺的公牛隊現在以兩場勝差落後給熱火與C's，目前是東區的第三種子。
"What we would be looking for as this trade deadline approaches is a little
more scoring if we can find it, but we aren't going to do anything to disrupt
the chemistry of this team," Paxson said Friday on "The Waddle & Silvy Show"
on ESPN 1000. "We've made huge strides this year, and we still think our best
basketball is yet to come."
在交易截止日前想要補強的是得分的部分，但不會為了補強而破壞球隊的化學反應，
球隊本季到目前為止的表現很好，而且我們認為這還不是我們最好的表現。
Shooting guard is considered to be the Bulls' weak spot, but Paxson doesn't
feel a sense of urgency to address that position. A league source said
nothing is going on with the Bulls and several names being mentioned,
including the Houston Rockets' Courtney Lee, the Cleveland Cavaliers' Anthony
Parker or the Denver Nuggets' J.R. Smith.
SG是牛牛們的弱點，但是Paxson並不覺得在這個位置的補強上有那麼急迫。
消息來源指出，之前提到的那些人(Lee A.Parker J.R.)，牛牛並沒有跟他們所屬球隊
有任何動作。
"If we continue to get a guy like Keith Bogans playing well, knocking down
two or three 3-pointers a game, and we bring guys like Ronnie Brewer off the
bench and C.J. [Watson], we're real comfortable with that," Paxson said. "The
bottom line is [Derrick Rose] is going to have the basketball in his hands
the majority of the time.
在Rose能保持大量持球的前提下，目前SG位置上的球員只要能正常發揮
(提到Bogans的三分XD)，牛群的管理階層就會覺得很酥胡。
"We're not going to compromise our chemistry, because it's an underrated
thing in this league when you have a group that plays well together and fits
together. And we're not going to compromise what we believe we can do in the
future to make us a championship team, not just for a year, but for a long
period of time with Derrick being just 22 years old. We'll be cautious. We
talked to a lot of teams. We listen, and throw ideas out there."
我們不會為了交易而犧牲我們的化學反應，這是一件不可輕忽的事。
Rose才22歲，我們不會犧牲或者用那些可以使我們獲得冠軍的長遠利益來妥協或交換。
我們與很多隊伍談過、我們聆聽、交換意見，但我們會很謹慎。

"And it hasn't been by chance. He's worked very, very hard at it. And we're
lucky we have him."
But Paxson won't compare Rose to his former teammate, Michael Jordan.
"First of all, I'll never try to compare anybody to Michael," Paxson said.
"Derrick and he are totally different players in how they get things done.
... We're not going to sit here and compare him to Michael.
"This is a whole different era. The game right now is different than it was
in the '80s and '90s. The league has changed rules. Had we had some of the
rules in place where you can't touch a guy on the perimeter and those types
of things, who knows what Michael would have done."
大意：不會拿Rose跟MJ比較，他們在完成目標的方式上是完全不同的球員，
時代與規則皆不同，不會拿任何人跟MJ比較。
雖然Paxson這麼說...但我還是很想看到有個好的SG...例如金塊的Afflalo....
