說到這snowman，不禁讓我又回想到還是個小高中生時〈1997聖誕節前〉
那時我們音樂老師拿繪本跟我們講這故事和起源
還自己把主題曲「Walking in the air 」寫成譜給我們唱
我們全班都好愛，那張譜我一直留著，直到前2年不見了
關於The Snowman的源起--是我在網路上找到的〈搜尋bbc snowman walking in the air〉
《雪人》的膾炙人口，相信大家對雷蒙‧布力格這個不發一語，運用漫畫的手法，
親切的描述小男孩與雪人間，一份真摯的友誼與一段不可思議的旅程，都耳熟能詳。
這位英國作家在1978年以彩色鉛筆，繪出了170 格的連環圖畫，不但小孩喜歡，
連大人都愛不釋手，更成了聖誕節的最佳代言書。
《雪人》一書在世界各國暢行無阻，這「無字」竟成了環遊世界的車票。
1982年這個故事被英國BBC製作成一部二十九分鐘長的動畫，該動畫在1983年
入圍奧斯卡最佳短片及多項藝術成就獎，這些光環，將《雪人》這部作品推向
登峰造極之處。這部動畫裡沒有對白，完全以悅耳動聽的音樂來搭配故事的節奏。
這個氣氛極佳的音樂，是著名的英國配樂作曲家霍華‧布萊克（Howard Blake）
的創作，他用音樂取代了語言，音樂與動畫情節配合得天衣無縫，為這部動畫增添了
更多的溫馨與甜美。其中的主題曲「Walking in the Air」，旋律優美，
由一個聲音清亮的男孩詮釋，歌聲環繞在三度空間裡，清新雋永，令人回味無窮。
