[請益] 在一起V(O) v.s V在一起

大家好，我在備課的過程中發現這個語法，感到有點困擾，
因此想向大家請教：

關於「在一起V(O)」和「V在一起」課本中的解釋是

在一起V(O):is used to emphasize that two or more subjects are together
in a single place or location, but they are not necessaryily performing
the same action jointly.

V在一起indicates that the persons, things, or affairs preceding the verb
will be in the same place after the action of the verb has been performed.

簡單來說，「在一起V(O)」是指兩個事物在同一個地方發生，例如
「我們從小就在一起玩」、「我和哥哥不在一起圖書」

而「V在一起」是指???
這邊不是很了解課本中的解釋。例句為「坐在一起」

如果照課本的解釋，這兩句：「我們住在一起」和「我們在一起住」，哪個才是對的呢？
感覺依解釋的話是後者，但語感告訴我是前者啊@@?

推 estudiante:現代華語VO的後面只能帶結果補語,所以應該是坐在一起
→ estudiante:sorry是住在一起
推 estudiante:[HOW VO RESULT] 這樣記動詞句前後成份的意思就好懂了
