因為上次有人詢問，我就打原文貼出來。
The person of Jesus Christ in the fulness of its
theanthropic life cannot be exhaustively set forth by
any formulas of human logic. Even the imperfect,
finite personality of man has a mysterious background,
that escapes the speculative comprehension; how much
more then the perfect personality of Christ, in which
the tremendous antitheses of Creator and creature,
Infinite and finite, immutable, eternal Being and changing,
temporal becoming, are harmoniously conjoined! The
formulas of orthodoxy can neither beget the true faith,
nor nourish it; they are not the bread and the water of
life, but a standard for theological investigation and
a rule of public teaching.
耶穌基督的位格(person)在其神人二性的豐滿裡是根本無法以
人類任何邏輯的公式來完全定規的。如果連那不完全，有限之
人的位格(personality of man)都是奧秘難測的，何況基督那
完全、無限的位格！於此基督耶穌的位格裡，創造者與受造物
，無限的與有限的，永不改變的、永遠的所是(being)，與會改
變的、短暫的所成(becoming)，這些驚人的對比何等協調一致
的結合在一起！
