如果你引述的”亞米念主義”是與衛斯理的主張不同(也與亞米念的主張不同),
那麼這種”亞米念主義”似乎連Jacobus Arminius亞米念本人也不支持,
你引述的”亞米念主義”那就不知道從何而來了(待查證,可能是”當時英國聖公會
高派教會”的亞米念主義,要不然就是別的)。

亞米念認為,稱義重生的基督徒有對自己負責的能力,但是仍然在”肉體與聖靈相爭”的
矛盾中,做任何好事仍然在掙扎中且需要幫助,又無法免於犯罪。亞米念強調,此現象並
非偶發的,即使最完全的人也還是不可避免地觸犯神的律法。
亞米念還強調,成聖是逐漸的過程而非一次完成,罪惡的影響逐漸減小。亞米念在成聖
議題多半引用聖經嚴謹推論。

XIII. But two things must be here observed. The First that this work of
regeneration and illumination is not completed in one moment; but that it is
advanced and promoted, from time to time, by daily increase. For "our old man
is crucified, that the body of sin might be destroyed," (Rom. vi, 6,) and
"that the inward man may be renewed day by day." (2 Cor. iv, 16.) For this
reason,
in regenerate persons, as long as they inhabit these mortal bodies,
"the flesh lusteth against the Spirit." (Gal. v, 17.) Hence it arises, that
they can neither perform any good thing without great resistance and violent
struggles, nor abstain from the commission of evil. Nay, it also happens,
that, either through ignorance or infirmity, and sometimes through
perverseness, they sin, as we may see in the cases of Moses, Aaron, Barnabas,
Peter and David.
Neither is such an occurrence only accidental; but, even in
those who are the most perfect, the following Scriptures have their
fulfillment: "In many things we all offend;" (James iii, 9;) and "There is no
man that sinneth not." (1 Kings viii, 46.)

(我還沒找到拉丁文原文為何,從英文譯文來看是great resistance/
assisted/co-operate with God)
此點衛斯理與亞米念的立場是相同的,
似乎也看不太到”去平衡了加爾文宗與亞米念主義(如果說是亞米念本人的主張)
的兩端”的跡象。
據我所讀到的分析,”亞米念主義”至少可能有以下三類語意:
1.只包含亞米念本人的主張
2.包含亞米念以後其他人發展的主張,但是不包含衛斯理的主張
例如與衛斯理同時期”當時英國聖公會高派教會”的亞米念主義
3.包含亞米念以外其他人發展的主張,也包含衛斯理的主張
從以下這連結的分析來看,衛斯理本人有部份強調重點(如強調人類墮落)
較類似加爾文,而不像是2.涵義的亞米念主義-”當時英國聖公會高派教會”的
亞米念主義。
