Dear Coco,

This is Craig, aka Morissett from Twitter. I promised you a comment about
your latest album, and I'm gonna do that right here. I mean, a 140 words
limit @ twitter is insane for composing something serious.

First of, I need to tell you my favorite 3 tracks. Given the thought of many
factors, I have my results, which are, "愛要現在", "三角心", & "美麗的主題曲
". And I have my reasoning.

To categorize the 3 tracks, "三角心" & "美麗的主題曲" is the Khalil
collaboration. I have already written a blog entry about it. (Link below, "留
白的藝術：三角心") I praised the effort that Khalil wanted to underline your
singing abilities, which are totally different in two tracks. One pure ballad
to point out your ability of portraying a song and the other one highlighting
many angles of your vocal, these amazed me at the first sight.

"愛要現在" is wonderful. I mean, the remake has totally revived into a
different soul. The constant drumbeats blend with your sweet vocal is like a
fresh sorbet served at Havana beach. (I'd use Mojito as the reference but
sorbet is more like a G rating to me.) The sweetness has thrived right at the
second verse of "片刻沈醉", the beat missed intendedly and it's so sweet that
I almost went crazy. Such track is set for summer to cool everybody. It's
fresh, indulgently beautiful, full of character. (I'm telling you I will also
write a blog entry for this track! The title is "沁甜的進化：愛要現在". I am
proud of my Mandarin title selections for my blog. lol)

Next, I'd love to comment on dance tracks. I am pleased to say that "Party
Time" is a great selection for the first releasing track of the album. The
siren sound is a hit. Some little flaws I need to let you know though. Maybe
you have already noticed, "Hey baby coming right now, 跳" part isn't as
powerful in a dance track. I was looking for a strong impression, like
Beyonce did in Single Ladies, or you did at live performances. Also, we
haven't had the chance to see the full dance course of "Party Time." This is
not good for a dance track. The other two tracks are amazing, "Ready or Not"
& "既然愛了" are deserved an MV to highlight your ability of rocking the
dance floor. I love "既然愛了" the most, my favorite dance track of the
album. A remix is a must for this track. A MUST.

I have to say I was a little worried when I sampled your pre-released songs,
like "I Have a Dream", "我愛看電影", & "BYOB." Blending with songs like
"Party Time," I had bad hunch to imagine these 4 songs into an album. The
character seems a little unfit to me. However, I am so happy after finishing
the whole album. The arrangement is GREAT. "I Have a Dream" got the bonus
position, after "東西." The only problem I have here will be "BYOB." To me,
it is more like a campaign theme song but not a track fitting into an album.
I love the concept of environmental friendly but it is not a good fit in this
album. The bright side of this song is that, the song served like a bridge to
me. After "流轉", the album has a twist ahead. Then you have "Ready or Not."
Also a good arrangement to me. It could be a better fit if you sang the
rewritten lyrics.

Some lyrics concerns I need to tell you. It may sound harsh but I think I
have to be honest with you, or the whole letter is pointless. Right? I see "美
麗的主題曲" as a successful ballad song. But a successful ballad song does
not mess with the lyrics. The part I had problem with is the second verse, "早
晚有一天，還會遇到「粉絲」遇到知音." You can't be more annoyed if you listen
to "Hero" by Mariah Carey and she sang "lol" in it. The other one will be "影
子." The track has really good writing in it. I love the part that you shout
for justice, "我多想在所有人前問你真的不可以愛嗎." Well, "為什麼愛那麼多的約定
俗成的將我捆綁" has minor rhetoric problem. To me, it'd be better if the
lyrics is "為什麼愛那麼多「卻」約定俗成地將我捆綁." Just a suggestion......

Kudos to your effort of pulling off "流轉"! Other than the contribution from
a Chinese classic, you beautifully crafted the song with your low register
vocal. The "你信不信一見鍾情這樣的愛情..." part is rich like an old cabinet
sauvignon, charming. I have to sniff it, to see it under the light, to swirl
it, before tasting it. You are that great. The song deserves a spot as a
theme song in any hot TV series.

Also, you don't have the same type of live performance like before. You
always have 王爺斯禹 with you on a show if you are performing. I think that
is a fantastic idea. The way you performed with him. You presented a
positive, professional image to the audience that you take singing seriously.
You also have the image that you have the ability to put some twists in your
performances, which is not possible if the singer is just a pop entertainer
(or a one-time camera hit).

I know some words in my comment may not be easy. These are sincere for sure.
I want you to know I am serious with your album. And I love your album
seriously. You must know that. You don't write theeeeese if you don't take it
seriously.

If possible, will you write me a reply regarding my comments? I'd love to
hear your thought if I got something wrong. (Or a shout-out @ my blog/twitter
will be so cooooooool!) lol

Oh and please, we need you in Taiwan. Please promoting more and more. The
campaign strategy saddens me a little...... :-(
