LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Kerry Wood left the Chicago Cubs' game against the
Los Angeles Dodgers after two innings Tuesday night because of tightness
in his right triceps.
The All-Star right-hander gave up second-inning home runs to Adrian Beltre
and rookie Jason Grabowski -- his first in the major leagues.
Glendon Rusch relieved Wood to start the third.
Wood was taken out as a precaution, the Cubs said, and was to be evaluated
again Wednesday.
Mark Prior, Chicago's other ace, has been on the disabled list since the
start of the season because of a sore elbow and inflammation in an
Achilles' tendon.
應該是指被幹了兩支hr後...突然間覺得三頭肌緊繃...所以主動要求退場...
