 Mike Remlinger had a 4.50 ERA in five games.
 Baker said he's seen improvement in Remlinger's outings.

"He's thrown the ball a lot better since he's been back," Baker said of the
lefty. "It's unfortunate we put him in the situation [Friday] night with the
bases loaded. It's no secret 'Rem' usually gets right-handers out better than
left-handers, we all know [Hideki] Matsui is better against left-handers, but
that was the best option that we had [in the eighth]."
