Hey I want to share this story in English. Hope you never mind my English is not so well. :) Once several friends and I went to a chinese restaurant for a dinner together. We had "合菜". ("fusion" in English? I am not sure ~) One of our dishes is a fish. We ate, and when the upper side of the fish is almost gone, what we were going to do next, surly, is to turn the fish upside-down. At that moment, one of my friends, who is a Thailand people, seemed to be schokced and said: "Oh, no, don't turn the fish upside-down." "Why?" We wondered. "Well...in Thailand, we don't turn the fish. Because legend has it if we turn the fish, the fisherman who caught this fish will turn over from his boat. (翻船) " Really interesting, sounds like a curse? We didn't know if that custom still prevailing in Thailand, but that night, everybody obeyed the rule and picked the fishbone out patiently. :D -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 125.229.65.31 ※ 編輯: ttak 來自: 125.229.65.31 (07/16 17:40)
