DETROIT (TICKER) —The Detroit Tigers on Monday agreed to terms with outfielder Timo Perez on a minor-league contract. Perez, who turns 33 in April, will attend spring training as a non-roster invitee. Perez spent last season with Class AAA Toledo, batting .302 with 13 home runs and 63 RBI in 112 games. Perez last played in the majors in 2007, when he hit .389 with 13 RBI in 90 at-bats with Detroit.
