INDIANAPOLIS -- The Detroit Tigers have re-signed shortstop Adam Everett to a one-year contract, general manager Dave Dombrowski announced this afternoon. Everett was the Tigers' primary shortstop last season, but he was not offered salary arbitration by the team this off-season. Terms of his deal were not immediately available. Everett saw action in 118 games in 2009, hitting .238 with 21 doubles, three home runs and 44 RBIs. “Adam is one of the top defensive shortstops in the game, and we are excited to have him back with the club for the 2010 season,” Tigers general manager David Dombrowski said. A veteran of nine seasons, Everett has compiled a .976 career fielding percentage at shortstop. http://0rz.tw/Pr3D4 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.117.58.43
