Interesting. 2CSNAP-20040827-2330-GCC2.iso goes all the way to login 
prompt, but then I can not type anything via keyboard (connected via 
PS2-to-USB converter since this machine has USB for keyboard and mouse 
and NO ps2).

p.s.
I CAN type at boot menu - for example I can select verbose menu there. 
But not after the kernel is loaded.
