    Nope, no magic test apps exist for most bugs, only the ones we write
    ourselves.  Sometimes bugs are difficult to reproduce consistently and
    one never gets proof-positive that a fix has actually worked, other then
    in the form of not getting any more bug reports for that particular
    problem.
