Nah, I just use gcc 2 all the time, gcc 3 isn't even in my view.
Also, I constantly revert to the old bootblocks as base.
Simon was saying me that his solution would be of consequence for my issue.
And I must say, your patch based on his suggestion doesn't give me a BTX
halted anymore, but a LBA error.
