Joerg, on a Sept 13 (23:30) iso from chlamydia I get issues with CCVER. I installed it, now have a /usr/src and want to compile it. grep "^CCVER" /etc/make.conf CCVER?=gcc2 (use GCC 2.95.x, default) (/usr/src/sys/compile/PURGATORY) [9:59] [root@purgatory] (523) {0} # make depend "/usr/share/mk/bsd.cpu.mk", line 30: "Either set CCVER to a known compiler or specify CCVER_BSD_CPU_MK" also (/usr/src) [10:00] [root@purgatory] (504) {0} # make buildworld 2>&1 | tee make-world.log "/usr/share/mk/bsd.cpu.mk", line 30: "Either set CCVER to a known compiler or specify CCVER_BSD_CPU_MK" If I comment CCVER in make.conf it works and starts compilation. ?= or = makes no difference. I diff -ruN'd the share/mk dir with src/share/mk, only difference was the Makefile. Just reporting it to you, since I have to leave for work now. If I have time I'll dig into it, but I know you have enough spare time right now. :P -- Jeroen Ruigrok van der Werven <asmodai(at)wxs.nl> / asmodai / kita no mono Free Tibet! http://www.savetibet.org/ | http://ashemedai.deviantart.com/ http://www.tendra.org/ | http://www.in-nomine.org/ Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those that trespass against us...
