Even with good summaries of the changes, it is hard to decyfer large diffs. The make program is so important in our build process that if I break it, I want people to be able to revert as few patches as possible. Also when I submit patches to FreeBSD, the person committing my work into their tree responds much faster with smaller patches. And is less likely to break subsequent patches, when he adds his own style changes. Max
