Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this, but isn't FreeBSD currently porting RaidFrame over and redoing low level parts of it so it can take advantage of GEOM? This was what I had read as I was doing research on encrypted RAID arrays. Apparently if you want one under FreeBSD, that doesn't exist right now, but RaidFrame, when altered to take advantage of GEOM, will be the way to do it....
