:change at 2.6?  My pet issue here is having an upgrade scramble - or
:appear to scramble - someone's machine.  Our upgrades have been remarkably
:painless, and I'd hate to lose that pattern.

    I'd like to go with AHCI for 2.4 and get the pain over with ASAP, but
    I won't make a final decision until the end of June (when hopefully
    we'll more people will have started using it).
