This is all in HEAD. * I have made some significant adjustments to the AHCI driver to deal with AMD braindamage with AMD's newer 880G chipsets. These chipsets can handle several PCI-e bus slots and have 6 6GBit SATA ports. Basically their firmware is way behind the times. Horribly so, in fact, and generates a lot of spurious PCS and IFS interrupts during the INIT phase as well as takes an extra long time to train the PHY (possibly due to the 6GBit support but still...). * The kernel as of today should be much more stable than it was earlier in the week. We've whacked the most serious networking issues with the netmsg/MP work. In anycase, if you have AHCI-based SATA please test the new driver. -Matt Matthew Dillon <dillon@backplane.com>
