:I just did a buildworld/buildkernel but it did not help. Also switching off
:WEP does not change anything. With wi.patch no AP is found, see "wicontrol -L"

Johannes, try doing another update. Hiten made a small mistake in the
WLAN build that caused the module to not compile in INET support (when
built as a module). That has been fixed. My linksys cardbus card
(wi0) works.
