TERESA HERRERA TROPHY
The final participant for the annual Teresa Herrera has been made
known as Atletico de Madrid will be present on 13-15 August, 2004.
Edition number LIX of the tournament will now consist of Deportivo,
Sporting Lisbon, Zaragoza and this club from Madrid.
With it the usual participation schedule of four clubs is revived
after the last edition consisted of three clubs, of which two were
South-American ones. In 2003 the participants were Deportivo,
Nacional de Montevideo and America while in 2002 present were
Deportivo, Cruz Azul, Nacional de Montevideo and Atletico de Madrid.
Deportivo won both tournaments but the not very attractive opponents
caused Riazor to be almost empty last summer.
