DUSCHER MEETS ARGENTINEAN PRESIDENT
Earlier this week Argentinean midfielder Aldo Pedro Duscher met
the president of his country, Nestor Kirchner, to receive in a personal
way congratulations for an investment the Deportivo player has done in
his troubled country. During last season Duscher bought a big part of a
hydro-electric company in the region of his birth to stimulate this part
of the country. The moment of congratulations was a good one to return
these congratulations with a shirt of Deportivo.
On Monday the player was received at the Casa Rosada where the Argentinean
government is situated. There he met Nestor Kirchner who thanked him for
investing $1 million in the Chubut region. Duscher handed over a Deportivo
shirt to his president who for his part asked the player so sign it.
Duscher commented on his investment that he is “happy for having done
such an investment in Chubut” and for the “warm welcome” he received
from the president. “The best way to help Argentine at this moment is
to invest in the country. It’s something I always wanted to do and I
hope it does Argentina well”.
The player is enjoying his holidays in Argentina and will be back in
La Coruna when the pre-season starts on 10 July.
