*Duke’s contract will pay him $3.5 million in 2010 and includes a mutual
option worth $5.5 million for 2011 that can be bought out for $750,000. The
value of the 2011 option can increase to $7 million based on innings pitched.
Not sure if the value of the buyout can change as well. The Diamondbacks are
guaranteeing him $4.25 million, which is less than the $4.3 million he made
this year with Pittsburgh.
3.5M @ 1yr + 0.75M buyout or 5.5M+ mutual option
