who would argue that a key reason for the increasingly enthusiastic
viewership has been breakout star Jim Parsons. As the all-too-logical,
defiantly antisocial □ber-nerd Sheldon Cooper, Parsons has taken writer
Chuck Lorre’s lovably infuriating creation and turned him into one of the
medium’s most hilarious characters. Earning an Emmy nomination and a TCA
award for Outstanding Achievement in Comedy for his pitch-perfect
performance, Parsons has been described by Lorre as “a force of nature. He
really is that good.” Parsons will be on hand to talk about the series.
