RIGA, Oct 3 (Reuters) Latvia will be without three leading players for their decisive final Euro 2004 Group Four qualifier in Sweden on October 11. Coach Aleksandrs Starkovs has named a 21-man squad that does not include injured strikers Marian Pahars and Andrejs Prohorenkovs or suspended midfielder Juris Laizans. Maris Verpakovskis, who scored twice against Hungary, is expected to lead the line against Sweden. Latvia are second in Group Four with 13 points after beating Hungary 3-1 in Riga last month. But they are just two points ahead of Hungary and three clear of Poland, who meet next week. Sweden have already qualified for the tournament as group winners.
