have identical tastes?
4.Freddie's income is $20 a month. In June, cookies cost $1 apiece, crackers
cost $1 apiece, and Freddie buys 5 cookies and 15 crackers. In July cookies
cost $1.5 apiece, crackers cost $0.5 apiece, and Freddie buys 9 cookies and
13 crackers.
(a) (4分) How is the general price movement from June to July? Please
calculate the Laspeyres price index. Is Freddie better off due to
this price change?
(b) (3分) Are crackers a normal or an inferior good for Freddie?
