        經濟學有關 convention 的研究, 至少就我所知
        我會直覺想到 Peyton Young 的

       “ The Evolution of Conventions, ” Econometrica, 61 (1993), 57-84.

        以及一群經濟學家, 將馬可夫過程 (Markov Process) 的概念
        引入演化賽局論 (Evolutionary Game Theory) 討論當中
        事後在 1996 年 JEP 有一篇 survey paper

       “ The Economics of Convention, ” Journal of Economic Perspectives,
        10  (Spring, 1996), 105-122.

        這篇文章將其他的模型也有所提及以及簡介
        以及 Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy 也有一些介紹

        Institutions (Princeton University Press, 1998)

        我對 convention 主要的概念來自上面這本書籍
        主要是在 multi-equilibirum 之時
        利用一些數學工具去判斷哪個均衡是『比較容易發生』或『比較穩定』的

        equilibirum selection 的方法不少
        出發點可以由不同的學習方法, 或者是 payoff form 出發
        也可以由每個 player 犯錯的機率 model
