我想, 您大概是看到我和我老師談的那一篇文章所以才會說有板友不推薦 Barro 新版
課本吧.
關於 Williamson 課本的部分, 我想您可以參考 soun 兄的 #12YkVFfR 文章.
至於 Barro 的部分, 這本課本我最後還是以相對比台灣低的價格購得, 包括英文版與簡體
中文版.
個人還是比較喜歡 Barro 以前 (5th edition) 的寫法, 特別是在念第一章時他其中寫的
一句話 (第六頁倒數第五行...) :
Therefore, although the economy has changed greatly over a century -
including a larger role for govenrnment, a diminished share of agriculture in
the GDP, and dramatic alterations in the monetary system - the data suggest
NO MAJOR CHANGE IN THE INTENSITY OF BUSINESS FLUCTUATIONS.
或許, 現在只是一個業餘的經濟愛好者, 也沒花很多時間去看 Barro 的新版課本.
也有很多老師 ( google 就可以得知 ) 喜歡 Barro 的新版課本.
但是, 如果如 soun 兄所說的, 想看更進階的課本 (譬如, Romer 的 Advanced Macro)
那麼 Williamson 的課本 (特別是附註部分) 會是一個不錯的基礎.
