I have different suggestion:
Study anything related to this EE industry.
Be good at fundamental knowledge and also know a little bit more
about others (including other industry.)
For fundamental knowledge I mean logic, electronics, circuit, economics,
management, computer languages, math/calculus, and maybe some other fields.
There'are lots of ways to learn the fundamentals. Reading text book is one
uneasy way. You can take a look at some general EE newspaper or magazine,
such as IEEE Spectrum, business week, EETimes, and much more. Talking to
professors or graduate student is another good way to obtain an alternative
view of the industry. And you can pratice your networking technique.
Soon you'll find out you don't have enough time to do all the interesting
things. Then it's time for you to learn the time management and trade-offs.
Also remember your specialty is more engineer than electrical. As an
engineer you are the bridge between pure science and real life.
You are the person who doesn't fully understand how things work, but knows
how to use it and use it wisely/efficiently. Circuit designer is a typical
example (talk about tuning :p )
You say you like more about computer engineering, is it because you are doing
very well in writing language? Well if you're doing really good at this,
you might have a very good logic sense, which means you have the potential
of mastering anything you want. However, it's impossible to go into that
depth with only 4 years in undergraduate. You have to go to graduate school.
Before that, please build up fundmentals. This is the only thing important.
Good luck and have fun.
