Windows VBA-M build with UPS support
Here is a Windows MFC build of VBA-M with support for autopatching ROMs with
UPS and PPF patches. It also comes with a Earthbound/Mother themed installer
for newbies.
What I recommend:
- Direct3D with bilinear texture filtering and VSync enabled; D3D motion blur
only when flickering occurs; triple buffering disabled for less input lag
- HQ2x or HQ4x pixel filter, D3D multi-threading disabled, no interframe
blending
- XAudio2 with 4-6 frames buffering and surround-upmixing enabled if you have
more than two speakers
- Audio core settings at default
- no throttle, no frame skip
