which是關係代名詞 代表的是先前描述述的事物
假設使用which 將本句還原
The adventures ..(略).. to warm themsevlves with which they could find.
那這邊的which 所代表的事物將失去焦點
如此看來在此代表的是fire => 他們用他們能找到的火升火取暖
因此需要使用到複合關係代名詞what = the thing(s) which
才不會失去了所要表達的意思
