標題[文法] Despite him being poor, he is happy

請問 如標題例句 若 although he is poor, he is happy. 用 despite 改寫之後 會變成 despite "him" being poor,.... 而不是 "his" being poor 呢 為此已詢問過母語人士，慣用也是him; 查過 google, him 出現的頻率也高於 his 請問這其中變化的過程怎麼解釋呢？ 感謝各路高手不吝解答～ -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 111.255.64.147
