[請益] 請問meat在本句中是否為『贅字』

在文法書中看到一句：

At this time next week, we wll be barbecuing meat by the river.

通常烤「肉」，是否可直接說"barbecue"即可，

這裡加上meat是為了強調，還是原本就應該加上去？
