[請益] 兩題文法~(假設句/rattle)

   Federal Aviation Administration is not likely to end its ban on the use of

   cell phones in flight.

   Ans:were to change


  【疑問】請問這句哪裡看的出來要用假設句were to呢？ (是因為前面有even if嗎？)

          如果是的話，主要子句好像沒有使用假設句？




2. An earthquake last month ___ the nuclear power plant.

   Ans: rattled


  【疑問】請問這裡使用shake是否會比較好。 查了rattle的意思，本是『使發出咯咯聲

          』，英文則是it shakes and makes a quick series of short sounds。

          除了shake，還要make short sounds。所以上面這句是指搖動時發出的聲音

          嗎？

→ dunchee:震。桌椅家具，房間裡頭沒有牢牢固定的物件，甚至是窗戶
→ dunchee:...你應該有體會過/聽過字典裡頭描述的"情形"吧?
