I got one response from a native speaker (Dave Phillips) on an EFL forum www.englishforums.com. Dave Phillips Thu, 01 Apr 10 11:00 AM He was at the farm - he was staying there. He was on the farm - he was working there. Hope his explanation can shed new light on how to understand better the collocation of "on/at the farm". Thanks a lot for Dunchee's suggestion about the website and all the comments from PTT buddies. Many thanks really really. Hector -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.135.11.178
