以下有兩個句子
The boy is sitting next to me. / I like the boy.
請問大家會怎麼合併呢?
我直覺是I like the boy who is sitting next to me.
但是The boy whom I like is sitting next to me.這樣不知道可不可以?
另一題
The police caught the thief. / The thief stole a car.
可以合併成The thief whom the police caught stole a car.這樣嗎?
還是只能The police caught the thief who stole a car.
