原文：Shorebirds that come into contact with the crude can end up smothered.

我想請問有end up + pp.的用法嗎？ 或是這裡省略end up (being) smothered呢？


字典上查到的用法其中一種是end up + Ving，所以不大清楚這裡為什麼要用smothered。
