[文法] in store

Sitting on the airplane and watching the clouds beneath me, I let my thoughts

wander to the new experiences that were in store for me during the next two

years of living abroad.

sitting 是表示while 在期間嗎？還是because 呢？

請問他是回想過去兩年的新經驗ㄇ?
