我在對岸的雅思書上看到這個字可以用做"賠償"
例句是
The company didn't make amends to him for his loss so he sued the company.
但是我在google字典上
和M-W都沒有查到這個意思

樓上的意思是指應該是make amends for 嗎??但是那個句子是書上寫的~不是我寫的...
