所以是比較，
因此是much larger
（much只是一個增幅的字，「比逾期的還要多『很多』」這樣，）

: (d)on
不知道。
我覺得整個句子不需要這一格，也很完整。


: 3. _____ I arrived at the hall when my boss telephoned me.
: (a)Barely had
: (b)Only if
: (c)Had
: (d)If
A，這是倒裝，強調Barely,還原是 I had barely arrived

其他選項都不對，b d 的話，後面還有東西要說，不該就停住在這句。
而且假設語氣前面用過去式arrived表示是與事實相違，
所以應該是had arrived. 句中沒HAD，也是一個可以判斷的地方。

C的話，HAD放在前面，會變成疑問句。
最後面不是？是。 ，所非不疑問句。
