請位各位大大一下  選出錯誤的動詞時態

        We(A.could do B.had done C.were doing D.have done)the laundry when

     the security guard showed up.


     不好意思，小弟的英文也沒有多好!!但個人認為此題沒有錯誤的丫

     但答案是D 我真不曉得原因是什麼咧??

     麻煩各位幫忙一下啦!!!
