※ 引述《memorabilia (美麗研究所)》之銘言:
: 這個問題是醬子的..
: 一般來說too..to 都是接 too + adj/adv + to V
: 而今天有一個重組句 別人寫的答案是
: It is a too good chance to lose.
: 但是在網路上找到有 too good a chance to miss
: 也有 a chance too good to miss 的寫法
: 我不知道哪個是正確的,但我覺得第一句是不正確的。
: 請問各位有何看法呢?謝謝
在<<Practical English Usage>>有提到,茲節錄如下:
Too is not normally used before
adjetive + noun.
She doesn't like men who are too tall.(Not:She doesn't like too tall men.)
.
.
.
In a rather formal style, too can be used before
adjective + a/an + noun.
It's
too cold a day for tennis.
在另一個單元還有提到:
After
as,
how,
so,
too and
this/that meaning
so, adjectives go before
a/an.
This structure is common in a formal style.
as/how/so/too/this/that + adjective + a/an +noun
I have
as good a voice as you.
How good a pianist is he?
I couldn't afford
that big a car.
