[請益] 關於...主題 用 on or of?

一句中翻英:

他已經寫了很多關於支那的歷史書籍。

He has written a lot of history books of / on China.

想請教用 of / on 哪一個是對的？

我想這裡介系詞用about 會好一點，不過about 不在選項之內。
